Business as unusual

Online event — 23 March 2021

This event launched a piece of research carried jointly by UZH CLFW and CURVE during lockdown about leadership during Covid, the challenges leaders have been facing and the future of work. The event provided a chance to explore the most important themes that emerged, all of which will continue to influence the way we all work for a long time to come.

Prof. Dr. Lauren Howe presented the research, while Prof. Dr. Jochen Menges joined a panel discussion which included:

- Dr. Nakeema Stefflbauer, tech digitalisation and digital policy expert, founder and CEO of Frauenloop.org, lead of the Techincolor.eu collective, active angel investor and ‘tech fixer’.
- Cary Wakefield, CEO at Ovarian Cancer Action, Director at On Purpose Group, NED at Catalyst Housing Limited, former BBC Director of Marketing and Audiences.
- Bidjan Nashat, Save the Children International Senior Leadership Team, guest lecturer at University of Cambridge, former World Bank and Save the Children Deutschland, making human and children's rights work

Panellists discussed the research and its relevance to global leadership challenges.
