What does commuting do to innovation?

The removal of commutes due to remote work comes with unexpected downsides. Research by Prof. Dr. Jon Jachimowicz and Prof. Dr. Jochen Menges demonstrates that it can help us separate our professional and personal lives and increase work-life balance. The commute can thus be used for role transition which can positively affect productivity, innovation and creativity.
